Do muslims and jews in America favor a certain party when they vote?
I think that the tendency in both communities is to vote for Democrats by large margins. As a conservative Republican, I am very much in the minority within the Jewish community - and my turn towards political conservatism as a college student is one reason why I became more interested in traditional Judaism at the time. When I was growing up in the 1970s and 1980s, the services I went to occurred at non-traditional synagogues, where Judaism was presented in a way that conformed far more to "liberalism" than traditional Judaism. (These days, I attend a synagogue run by the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, an Orthodox group that specializes at least in part to reaching out to lapsed and non-traditional Jews.)
