Would Tea Party Republicans betray their Wall Street overlords and actually default on the National Debt?

I think they're too much under the spell of Goldman Sachs and the Wall Street investment powerhouses. Those companies need a steady tempo of new borrowed money, and the Republicans know who truly butters their bread.
